2024 Subaru Crosstrek: Interior and Exterior Design
Now in its 3rd generation, this subcompact SUV has gone through some esthetic changes compared to the last version, but not too many; why change a winning recipe?
The exterior design has been improved and now includes a more sculpted body, a hexagonal radiator grille without a frame, new directional LED headlights and new air intakes at the front and rear, along with new 17- or 18- inch wheels, among other things.
Moreover, the higher ground clearance gives it a more rugged physique, while also improving the off-road capabilities.

When it comes to the powertrains, they remain the same: the two base models are equipped with a 2.0 L 4- cylinder engine with 152 horsepower and 145 lb-ft. maximum torque. The Onyx and Limited trims offer a 2.5 L 4- cylinder engine with 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft. maximum torque.
The most significant change is when it comes to the transmissions; in fact, Subaru has eliminated the manual transmission and keeps only the CVT Lineartronic.
As for the rest, there are no changes; all 2024 Crosstrek trims are standard equipped with the Subaru full-time AWD system.
