The performance of the 2022 Crosstrek Hybrid Electric
The gasoline engine and the electric motor combine to deliver 148 horsepower, 149 lb-ft of torque and a towing capacity of 453 kg (1,000 lbs).
The 2022 Crosstrek Electric Hybrid can travel 27 km in all-electric mode. If plugged into a 240V home terminal, the Crosstrek Electric Hybrid will fully recharge its battery in just 2 hours. On average, the electric and combustion engines of this Subaru hybrid SUV consume just 6.6 L/100 km in the city and 6.8 L/100 km on the highway. You can travel a total of 746 km before needing to pump gas into the tank.

Subaru Canada has revealed the arrival of the first 100% electric Subaru SUV: it's the 2023 Subaru Solterra. The all-electric Solterra is part of a global vision of greener, more sustainable, and environmentally friendly mobility!
This new electric Subaru SUV remains very true to the technical features that made the Subaru brand so famous. The 2023 electric Solterra is equipped with the legendary full-time all-wheel drive system that delivers excellent handling and stability even in the worst driving conditions.
The powertrain of the 2023 Solterra
The all-electric 2023 Subaru Solterra uses no fossil fuel at all, produces no greenhouse gases and offers a maximum range of up to 367 km. When plugged into a fast-charging station, it takes only 56 minutes to recharge its battery to 80% of its full capacity.
Its 2 permanent-magnet synchronous motors are powered by a capable 72.8 kWh battery. This powertrain generates 215 hp and 249 lb-ft of torque. Like the Crosstrek Hybrid, the Subaru Electric is equipped with full-time symmetrical all-wheel drive.
Design of the 2023 Solterra
The 2023 Subaru Solterra, which will soon be showcased by your Subaru dealer, stands out with its particularly elongated profile. The angles of its hood, its sharp front fenders and its lowered rear window give it a futuristic look that confirms the avant-garde nature of the electric Solterra. The black coating on the front fenders highlights the power of Subaru's first 100% electric SUV.
The Touring is the top of the line-up trim of the Subaru Solterra. It features a laminated glass sunroof with power sunshade and its front and rear bumpers are the same colour as the body.
The interior of the 2023 Solterra
The Solterra boasts a very comfortable interior. All 5 passengers enjoy generous legroom thanks to the perfectly flat floor and an interior volume of 3,530 L.
The interior layout is refined and ergonomic and makes use of very soft materials. Standard features include Apple CarPlay, Android auto, hands-free calling and Bluetooth streaming. The 12.3-inch touchscreen is available on Limited and Touring versions, which also feature a 576-watt Harman/Kardon premium audio system with 11 speakers.
