2025 Subaru Forester: Pricing and Trims
The 2025 Subaru Forester will make its debut at Subaru dealerships this spring; its price range will be revealed very soon. However, it is known that the 2025 Subaru Forester available in Canada will offer 5 trims, namely Base, Premium, Sport, Limited and Touring.
Interior and Exterior Design of the 2025 Subaru Forester
Featuring a bold and larger new grille, the 2025 Subaru Forester showcases some aesthetic updates; it will also offer different body colors and interior trims, depending on the selected trim.
Among other exterior features, depending on the trim, are 17-inch wheels (Base and Touring), 18-inch wheels (Limited), or 19-inch wheels (Sport and Premium), compact LED optics, pronounced wheel arches, as well as numerous lower guards, very practical for off-road adventures.

2025 Subaru Forester: Technical Specifications
The 2025 Forester is based on the updated global Subaru platform, which offers 10% more rigidity than the outgoing model; thus, you will enjoy more dynamic performances, a smoother ride, and – significantly – a quieter cabin.
For the rest, the 2025 version essentially holds the same specifications as those of the 2024 Subaru Forester.
Engine and Power
All trims of the 2025 Forester offer the standard SUBARU BOXER 2.5 L engine, which produces 180 horsepower/178 lb-ft; this engine is paired with a Lineartronic CVT that, for the Touring, Sport, Limited, and Premium trims, also offers a manual mode with steering wheel paddles.
Towing Capacity and Cargo Volume
Slightly more spacious than the 2024 model year, the 2025 Forester offers a cargo volume of up to 2107 liters with the rear seats folded down. However, no information regarding the towing capacity has been revealed to date. For reference, the 2024 model could tow up to 680 kg (1500 pounds), and up to 1588 kg (3500 pounds) for the Wilderness trim.
